Histories of Colour
The history you didn’t learn in school

Histories of Colour is a free multimedia project that aims bring non-white history, (neo)colonial oppression, and racial inequality to the attention of the general public. Presenting a diversity of experiences and perspectives from history in bite-size form, the project hopes to encourage understanding of the structural inequalities that people of colour face today.
The creator, Carissa Chew, is a PhD researcher in History at the University of Edinburgh.
